Research Purchasing FAQ

Who are BioVector materials intended for?

They are intended for laboratory and research use by customers who can evaluate and handle research materials appropriately. A site visitor is not automatically represented as a qualified researcher.

Can BioVector products be used in humans or animals?

No. For laboratory and research use only. Not for human or veterinary use. Not intended for consumption, diagnosis, treatment, prevention, or administration to humans or animals.

Where can I find a COA or analytical record?

Use the Analytical Documentation Library. A record applies only to the catalog item and lot identified on that record. If a document is not published, contact support; do not infer a result from another lot.

Does an HPLC purity percentage establish the amount in a vial?

No. Chromatographic purity, molecular identity, quantitative content, sterility, and other attributes are separate measurements. Review the stated method and result for the specific lot.

Are bulk and recurring orders available?

Availability depends on the material, quantity, documentation needs, and current supply. Submit a commercial inquiry for review.

What if a specification is missing?

BioVector does not fill missing fields with assumed values. Request the available source document or clarification before relying on a specification.

How do I receive research updates?

Use the Research Updates page. Subscription is optional and requires an affirmative signup.
